Russia to help rapprochement of Koreas - Putin

MOSCOW, July 27 (Itar-Tass) - Russia hopes that its participation in joint projects with Koreas will help Seoul and Pyongyang rapprochement, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a ceremony of receiving credentials from ambassadors of several states on Friday.
“We proceed from the assumption that Russia’s active participation in the project of linking the Trans-Korean Railway with the Trans-Siberian Railway, the promotion of a number of other multilateral economic projects on the Korean Peninsula in deed will help rapprochement of Seoul and Pyongyang,” he said.
